Kyle Busch’s wife opened up honestly on ‘marital struggles’ with NASCAR star

Samantha Busch, wife of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, has shared details about the “marital struggles” the couple faced following her miscarriage. The clip has been re-shared following the tragic pᴀssing of the NASCAR driver.

In 2015, the couple welcomed their first son, Brexton, who’s been tipped as a future NASCAR racer, through IVF. Then in 2022, after years of difficulty, they welcomed their daughter, Lennix, via surrogate. But between Brexton’s and Lennix’s births, the couple experienced heartbreak in their quest for a second child, with Samantha enduring what she calls a “very sudden miscarriage.”

The 39-year-old recently appeared on Savannah Chrisley’s ‘Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley’ podcast, where she discussed the difficulties she and her husband faced during this challenging time.

“We had a lot of marital struggles because we had never dealt with something so heavy [the miscarriage] and we didn’t understand how each other were grieving and we didn’t understand what each other needed in that time and place, so it was a struggle,” Busch told Chrisley.

“So we worked on it. We worked really hard. We went to marriage counseling,” she explained.

“I just had this immense guilt and I was so mad at myself for it,” Samantha explained. “Kyle, on the other hand, he was like, ‘You know, I’m not trying to sound cold, but it’s done. There’s nothing that you can do to change this outcome. We have to keep moving forward.’”

She continued: “And I wanted him to still be in the trenches with me and he was moving forward and I couldn’t move forward.

“So that caused a lot of animosity for us and it took us a while to just understand each other’s perspectives and where we were coming from.”

Samantha also experienced the heartbreaking loss of twin girls she had conceived through IVF.

“We went back two weeks later and both of them were gone,” she continued.

“Unfortunately, my body thought I was still pregnant and wouldn’t miscarry, so my body was growing two empty sacs. I let that go for a bit until, unfortunately, I had to have a D&C two days before Mother’s Day.”

Despite the devastating setbacks, the couple’s perseverance ultimately paid off.

She added, “Lo and behold, God blessed us, and we have our daughter, Lennix, and she was born May 10, 2022, via our carrier, and she just turned 3 last month.”
