Baltimore, Maryland – Family members, friends, neighbors, and community supporters gathered in Baltimore to honor the memory of Jordan Bright, the 3-year-old girl whose pᴀssing has deeply touched the city.

An emotional candlelight vigil brought together hundreds of people who shared prayers, flowers, balloons, and heartfelt messages in remembrance of the young child.

The gathering took place along West Pratt Street, near the location where the incident occurred. Loved ones described Jordan Bright as a joyful little girl who loved roller skating, rainbows, ice cream, and spending time with her family.

During the vigil, her mother, Nyjada Billy, thanked the community for standing beside her family during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

According to investigators, the incident happened on June 20 when a vehicle reportedly left the scene after striking the child.

Authorities later located the vehicle and detained a 14-year-old juvenile, who is now facing charges in the juvenile justice system. Police also stated that the vehicle had been reported stolen before the collision.

Community members, first responders, teachers, church leaders, and local residents attended the vigil to support Jordan Bright’s family.

Stuffed animals, candles, flowers, and colorful balloons were placed at a growing memorial as attendees reflected on the young girl’s life and offered prayers for her loved ones.

Witness Carlos Doles, who ᴀssisted the family immediately after the incident, also attended the memorial.

He said the experience has remained with him and emphasized the importance of helping others during moments of crisis. His actions have been recognized by many residents as an example of compá´€ssion and community support.

Pastor Stacey Bryson remembered Jordan Bright as a loving and cheerful child who brought happiness to those around her.

Friends and relatives shared similar memories, describing her as full of energy, kindness, and a bright smile that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

The Baltimore Police Department continues investigating the case while the juvenile court process moves forward.

Meanwhile, the community remains united in supporting Nyjada Billy, Jordan’s siblings, and all of her family as they continue to remember the life of a little girl whose memory has inspired an outpouring of love across Baltimore.
