Beyonce and Blue Ivy make surprise appearance at Jay-Z concert

Jay-Z made opening night of his sold out, three-night stand at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York on Friday a family affair by inviting his wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter onstage to perform with him.
In fan footage, the 44-year-old R&B diva joined the 56-year-old rap mogul to sing his 1996 hit Can’t Knock the Hustle while clad in a sparkly black pin-stripe Giuseppe di Morabito suit and Messika jewelry selected by stylist Ty Hunter.
Beyoncé had to step in to belt the hook because the original singer, Mary J. Blige, was busy performing her Las Vegas residency at Park MGM.
The Morning Dew (Donk) songstress then gave Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) a tender kiss before exiting the stage.
Eight songs later, the Brooklyn billionaire announced: ‘Make some noise for the legendary Blue Ivy Carter!’
The 14-year-old nepo baby then helped her father perform his 1996 song Feelin’ It by expertly playing the piano.

‘Blue is a crazy pianist, but she won’t let us get her a teacher. She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch,’ Jay-Z told GQ in March.
‘If she hears a song, she’ll be like, “Play it again,” and then she’ll teach herself. That’s just talent. She doesn’t work at that. She worked at this, and it makes me proud that she fought for something that she really wanted to do. I don’t think we’re going to be able to get her off that stage now.’

Carter might be a teenager – but she’s already garnered a Grammy Award, MTV VMA Moon Man, NAACP Image Award, Voice Arts Award, two BET Awards and broken two Guinness World Records.
The Manhattan native previously served back-up dancer duties for her mother’s $407.6M-grossing, 32-date Cowboy Carter Tour last year after making her dance debut during her $579.8M-grossing, 56-date Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
The Roc Nation founder and Beyoncé are also proud parents of nine-year-old fraternal twins Sir and Rumi.
The Destiny’s Child alum was only 18 when she first met Jay-Z during MTV Spring Break in 1999, and they’ve amᴀssed a combined 60 Grammy Awards and $3.8 billion fortune during their 18-year marriage.
The former crack cocaine dealer – who concludes his Yankee Stadium residency on Sunday night – also brought out rapper Nas, his mentor Jaz-O and R&B singer Alicia Keys on Friday.
