Senatobia, Mississippi – Hundreds of family members, friends, faith leaders, and community supporters gathered in Senatobia to honor the memory of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley.

Taking part in a peaceful march calling for transparency and accountability following the incident that occurred on June 14 outside the Senatobia Walmart.
The march began near the Walmart on U.S. Highway 51 and continued through the city as participants carried signs, flowers, and pH๏τographs of Kohen.

Demonstrators chanted for justice while expressing support for the Wiley family and urging authorities to release additional information as the investigation continues.
Kohen’s mother, Vellesiya Wiley, has publicly thanked supporters for standing beside her family during this difficult time.
Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who is representing the family, has also called for the release of body-camera and surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation.
Community leaders, including Marquell Bridges of the Building Bridges Coalition, joined the event alongside local residents and national advocates.
Following the march, organizers held a community gathering focused on healing, unity, and continued support for Kohen’s family.
Flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, and handwritten messages remain at memorials created in Kohen’s honor, reflecting the lasting impact the young child had on people throughout Mississippi and beyond.
Supporters continue to gather for prayer services and remembrance events as they stand with the Wiley family.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation continues to lead the investigation into the incident. Officials have stated that additional information will be released as the investigative process moves forward.
