Riverdale, Georgia – Family members, friends, neighbors, and community supporters are remembering 6-year-old Ramon «RJ» Jett after authorities confirmed that the search for the young boy had come to a heartbreaking conclusion near the Sutter Lake Apartments in Riverdale, Clayton County.

According to the Clayton County Police Department, RJ was reported missing on Sunday, June 28, after he was last seen at the apartment complex on Webb Road.
Because RJ was nonverbal and autistic, authorities immediately launched an extensive search involving police officers, detectives, K-9 teams, dive teams, drones, firefighters, neighboring agencies, and dozens of community volunteers.
On Monday morning, search crews located Ramon «RJ» Jett in a nearby pond close to his last known location.
