Jennifer Aniston transforms her Montecito mansion into a home

Jennifer Aniston has officially turned her Montecito mansion into a home.

Once owned by Oprah Winfrey, the palatial Tuscan-style farmhouse property had been undergoing renovations for more than a year. 

Now, chic outdoor furniture have replaced the construction equipment that was once scattered across the property and the once-empty pool has been filled to the brim. 

The landscaping has also been complete, with green foliage surrounding staircases leading to a lower part of the backyard. 

From the poolside daybeds to the umbrellas, the backyard was the perfect place for an A-lister to relax in peace and quiet. 

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Aniston for comment but has not yet heard back.

The home has come a long way ever since Aniston purchased it from Winfrey for $15M in a reported off-market deal back in 2022.

Winfrey, a longtime Montecito resident, previously acquired the property in 2021 as part of a larger one-acre estate, paying $10.5 million.

However, just a year later, Winfrey divided and sold the estate. Aniston purchased one portion for $14.8 million, while Winfrey’s longtime friend, Bob Greene, acquired the other for an estimated $2.3 million.

Aniston’s new abode, built in 1998, has ‘picturesque ocean and mountain views, multiple terraces, landscaped gardens, and a mᴀssive motorcourt, all set on a private lot nestled among oak trees at the end of a long gated driveway,’ according to Architectural Digest.

The home has quite a bit of privacy on its heavily wooded premises, grᴀssy lawns and a enough parking to easily accommodate fifteen cars.

The newest pH๏τos come a year after Aniston suffered a terrifying security scare when a stalker rammed the front gates at the Bel Air home.

A source previously told the Daily Mail that the incident, which apparently occurred while she was in the home, left her ‘extremely shaken up.’

In an August 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, the star noted that the security detail outside of her home was a ‘necessity,’ and ‘not glamorous.’

At the time, the Daily Mail was the first to reveal in June that she planned to make her $15 million Montecito house – which she bought from Oprah Winfrey in September 2022 – her main base in the summers.

‘Jen is happy to have a safe place to run to where she can let her hair down,’ an insider said at the time.

‘Though she loves Los Angeles because it is where she grew up, she is craving more of a country setting these days away from the noise.’

Outside of the cameras, Aniston has been dating hypnotherapist Jim Curtis since early 2025.

They went Instagram official when she shared a pH๏τo of them together on Instagram around November 2, 2025 and made their first public appearance at the ELLE Women in Hollywood a few days later. 

Earlier this year, Curtis revealed that he and the Emmy-winner were introduced by mutual friends.

‘We were just introduced by friends. That’s it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat,’ he said on the Today show.

‘It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close.’

The Emmy winner, who has a reported net worth of $320 million, per a report from Cosmopolitan, is known for her starring role as Rachel Green in the iconic sitcom Friends.
