Jessica Alba gets matching TATTOOS with teenage daughter Honor

Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor Marie Warren got matching tattoos on her 18th birthday on June 7, the Daily Mail has discovered.

Alba, 45, turned to her favorite LA fine-line artist Daniel ‘Winterstone’ Winter to ink a pair of radiant eyes on each of their left wrists.

‘It was great giving Honor her first tattoo on her actual 18th birthday, and matching with her mom,’ the 44-year-old Winterstone Tattoo Studio owner told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

‘I can’t share the actual meaning I’ll leave that to the privacy of Jessica and her daughter. Tattooing Alba is always a great experience. She is such a kind, lovely human. 

‘The eye was a combined process we all designed but, in the end, it was my creation that landed as the tattoo. I’ve worked with Jessica many times and I’m sure more to come!’

Eye tattoos are said to symbolize protection, awareness, guidance and intuition.

Honor revealed the inkings in a mother-daughter snap showing them holding hands with the caption: ‘Me x Mama.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Alba’s representatives for comment but did not immediately hear back. 

Honor, who is an aspiring filmmaker, made her directorial debut helming a 16-minute short film called Unsaid, which premiered July 2 on Vimeo.

‘I could not be more proud of the young woman you have become,’ Alba, who boasts 50.6 million social media followers, wrote on Honor’s June 7 birthday.

‘As you step into adulthood, part of me wants to hold you close forever and keep you safe. But an even bigger part wants to watch you fly – to explore this world and discover everything that calls to your soul,’ the actress and entrepreneur said. 

‘And through it all, I will always be here. Whether you need comforting when [you’re sick], a hug or miss home, I’ll jump on a plane to see you – I’m here always.’ 

Alba also called her eldest daughter ‘sweet, brilliant, a shining light, kind, compᴀssionate, considerate, feisty, witty, wildly intelligent, endlessly curious, resilient, funny, fiercely strong-willed and self-ᴀssured.’

This fall, Honor will begin pursuing a degree in English and film studies at her father Cash Warren’s alma mater Yale University after graduating from Crossroads School in May.

It was Honor who actually inspired Alba to co-found her consumer goods brand The Honest Company in 2011, which has since transformed from a $6 million startup to a $509 million global business.

As for her professional life, Alba recently gushed that she is ‘thrilled to be part of’ Netflix’s reimagining of the 2004 rom-com 13 Going on 30 alongside Jennifer Garner, Judy Greer, Emily Bader and Tim Meadows.

Her other upcoming projects include Justin Chadwick’s spy thriller The Mark, Robert Rodriguez’s spy thriller Incógnito, Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut A Tree is Blue and Bobby Moresco’s sports car biopic Maserati: The Brothers.

But Alba originally got her big break portraying genetically enhanced supersoldier Max Guevara in James Cameron’s sci-fi drama Dark Angel, which aired for two seasons on Fox spanning 2000-2002.
