Rihanna’s private residence became the target of a shooting.

United States — Billionaire singer Rihanna was reportedly inside her home when a suspect fired at least 10 sH๏τs at her mansion in Beverly Hills, California, on March 8.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a woman fired multiple rounds at the pop star’s home on Sunday afternoon, with one bullet reportedly penetrating a wall of the mansion. Police said the suspect fired from inside a vehicle parked across the street, directly opposite the home’s gate.

Dispatch audio indicated that the vehicle — a white Tesla — then sped south along Coldwater Canyon Drive after the shooting.

The private residence of singer Rihanna in Beverly Hills became the target of a shooting on the afternoon of March 8.

According to TMZ, a woman fired multiple sH๏τs from inside a vehicle toward the singer’s home. At the time of the incident, the 38-year-old star was reportedly inside the house but is believed to be unharmed. The suspect, described as a woman in her 30s, was quickly subdued and detained by authorities at the scene.

Rihanna Safe After Shooting Outside Home

It remains unclear whether Rihanna’s boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children — RZA Athelston Mayers (3), Riot Rose Mayers (2), and baby Rocki Mayers (5 months) — were inside the home when the shooting occurred. The motive behind the attack remains unknown. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine what led the suspect to open fire.

Images from the scene show that the area outside the home of Rihanna was cordoned off with police tape. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department also blocked off the road near the residence of the “Umbrella” singer.

The founder of Fenty Beauty, Rihanna, purchased the luxury property in 2021. The estate features outdoor gardens and a swimming pool and sits directly across from the home of music legend Paul McCartney. The villa includes five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, set on a roughly 2,000-square-meter lot on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by lush hills. Built in the 1930s, the house is enclosed by tall hedges, ensuring complete privacy.

Before it was purchased by Rihanna, the property was owned by Mary Sheldon, the daughter of television producer Sidney Sheldon. The neighborhood where the singer lives is also home to many famous stars. Singer Mariah Carey rented a house a few doors away for several years, while the “Queen of Pop,” Madonna, is also among the notable residents in the area.

In 2024, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky offered a glimpse into their family living space. Inside, the home is decorated like a child-friendly paradise, filled with hundreds of toys and numerous family pH๏τos.  A$AP Rocky also shared pH๏τos of the home’s interior in a birthday post for their son Riot Rose Mayers, including moments of the boy playing inside his private room.

In another pH๏τo, A$AP Rocky is seen holding Riot in front of a marble kitchen counter filled with snacks and baby products. Behind them hangs a black-and-white pH๏τograph capturing an affectionate moment between Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, alongside a colorful portrait painting of the couple. Earlier, in 2021, media reports said Rihanna had rented out the property for as much as $80,000 per month after purchasing the neighboring house for $10 million. However, the singer later moved back into the residence and now lives there with her family.
