Nancy was last seen alive on Jan. 31 after she had dinner with family. She was reported missing on Feb. 1 when she failed to attend a virtual church service. The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance footage and images from Nancy’s Nest doorbell camera, which show a masked intruder walking up to the front door of her home the night of her abduction.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos spoke with NBC’s Liz Kreutz on March 3, and said that investigators are “definitely closer” to identifying and locating a suspect or suspects. During the conversation, which aired on the Today show, Nanos said authorities have “got a lot of intel, a lot of leads, but now it’s time to just go to work.”
