Sean Charles Greer Sentenced

Wilton Manors, Florida – More than four years after a devastating sidewalk crash that shook the Wilton Manors community, Sean Charles Greer, 32, has been sentenced to 73 years in prison for the collision that claimed the lives of three young girls and seriously injured three other children.

The sentencing followed emotional testimony from victims’ families during a hearing in Broward County.

According to prosecutors, the tragedy occurred on December 27, 2021, when Sean Charles Greer drove a 2009 Honda Accord onto a sidewalk while attempting to pᴀss a stopped transit bus.

Investigators said the vehicle struck six children walking together before Greer fled the scene.

Authorities later located him and said he admitted to being the driver.

The three young victims were identified as Andrea Fleming, 6, Paris Kyli-Ann Jones, 5, and Laziyah «Minnie» Stukes, 9. Andrea Fleming and Paris Kyli-Ann Jones pᴀssed away shortly after the crash, while Laziyah Stukes died months later from complications related to her injuries.

Three other children—Audre Fleming, Draya Fleming, and Johnathan Carter—survived the collision but suffered serious injuries.

During the sentencing hearing, relatives described the lasting emotional impact the tragedy has had on their families and urged the court to impose a lengthy prison sentence.

Following testimony from both the prosecution and the defense, Judge Andrew Siegel sentenced Sean Charles Greer to a total of 73 years in prison.

The sentence included consecutive prison terms for multiple convictions related to the crash.

The case remains one of the most heartbreaking traffic tragedies in South Florida in recent years.

Family members say they continue honoring the memories of Andrea Fleming, Paris Kyli-Ann Jones, and Laziyah «Minnie» Stukes, while hoping their story will encourage greater roadway safety and accountability to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.
